The Posh Pasty Company was founded in 2013 by chef and TV presenter James Strawbridge and his wife Holly. They have developed a range of gourmet flavours that retain a rustic farmhouse quality and offer a proper taste of Cornwall. James and his wife are passionate about promoting local and sustainable food, and the Cornish produce in his pasties makes them distinct.
Their gourmet pasties come in an individual recyclable box accompanied by a recyclable pot containing one of their posh condiments specifically matched to enhance the pasty. For their trademark golden pastry they use local Cornish butter. Sustainability is at the heart of their business and all of their suppliers are as local as possible.
James focuses on delivering pasty, pie and sausage roll products into larger wholesaler customers, tourist attractions such as The Eden Project, travel sector customers and big brands like P&O Ferries. He has also explored the export business to Austria and concentrates on airline catering development and getting a listing in a major multiple.
